France lost again

I was watching the news this morning and they are still talking about the bike race. The American winner of that French Bike race is the winner and the French can't stand it. I guess the french figure , if they can't win the race the right way, accuse the real winner of cheating and take it away. That brings up a question for me, who is in wsecond place and what country is he from?
If its a frenchman, he's just the first looser, and it's the only the french can win.
If the second place winner isn't french, that just tells me that the french hate the American and can't stand for an American to win.
Kind of make you wonder.

Hot water and Lowes

On June 26, 2006, Monday, my wife and I found ourselves without hot water. Taking cold showers suck.You have to work youself into getting totally wet, one arm, one leg at a time.We went onto Lowe's websight and found a new hot water heater we liked and would do the job for us. On Wenseday, 28th, we went down the road to the local Lowe's and order the one we choose on thier websight. We decided to have Lowe's to have it installed, the price on the sign for intalling the heater was $256.00. That price was posted on a sign next to the heater. The sales person told us that the plumber would be contacting us within 1 to 2 days. He also told us that we would have to pay for a city permeit to install the heater, $27.00. No problem. At the end of the day on Friday, the second day, we hadn't recieved a call from the plumber asking us when would we woulde like to have the heater installd. So my wife called Lowe's and told them that the plumber hadn't call yet and the Lowe's to tell the plumber that Monday we good for us because I would be home for the long 4 day weekend, 4 of July weekend. The person she talked to said they would take care of it.Well, Monday morning at 11:30 AM, I called Lowe's and that person said they would take care of it. At 1:00PM I got a call from the plumber to set up a day and time. I told her that today was good and she said between 2 and 4. Around 3:00PM two guys showed up, one from the plumbing company and the other from Lowe's.Now because they were installing a new heater, they had to bring everything up to city code. That was OK.To do that the new heater had to be on a stand, we bought a stand, new connecting pipes and a tray. The stand and the tray were required to meet code. A new electric shut off box next to the heater was also required, I wave that. Now because our heater wasn't on a stand to start with, they ware going to charge us for these two guys to left up the new one and put it on the stand. I got Lowe's to wave that. If I know that when we bought the heater, I would have gotten a neighbor to help me to do that.I thought that was part of the price to install.Then the plumber said that he would have to move the pressure release pipe down and he would have to cut a hole in the wall, cut off a piece of the pipe and re-sweet in the new connections. He said that was going to be an extra $170.00 and that he needed to collect that before he started, plus the $27.00 for the permit.The electric shut off box was going to cost an additional $150.00. I told them hold off on the electric box.The install price went from $256.00 to $426.00. If I had the electric done it would have gone up to $676.00 which it may if the inspector wants the box put in.When I went to the store to return a couple of the parts they didn't need, the woman asked me how it went, so I told her how bad it went, that all the extra charge should have been posted.She said the the men won't have know what the extras would have been until they got there.Well, unless they had to move the heater to the other side of the garge, they would know the prices.Plus Lowe's should know the code requirements and should be able to ask the customer some every simple question, example: Is the heater sitting on the floor and what is the size of the heater.Will my wife and I ever buy anything major from Lowe's in the future. NO WAY.They have pretty much lose my business. Do you know what, Lowe's doesn't really care. We're like a grain of sand on the beach.If anyone out there buys anything from Lowe's and it needs to be installed be very careful about using Lowe's for the install.Oh yea, if you ask them to come out to your home to check it out first, it will cost you $30.00 for them to do that.When they get done with you, they won't even give you a kiss.

Illegal immigrants

The open borders between the US and Mexico was in the news a couple of weeks ago when some American citizen said they needed to do something about it. Now that they all went back home, its not in the news any more, isn't that something how that works, remember Terrie.

Enter MEXICO illegally, never mind immigration quotas, visas, international law, or any of that nonsense.

Once there, demand that the local government provide free medical care for you and your entire family.

Demand bilingual nurses and doctors.

Demand free bilingual local government forms, bulletins, etc.

Procreate abundantly. Deflect any criticism of this allegedly irresponsible reproductive behavior with, "It is a cultural United State s thing. You would not understand, pal."

Keep your American identity strong. Fly Old Glory from your rooftop, or proudly display it in your front window or on your car bumper.

Speak only English at home and in public and insist that your children do likewise.

Demand classes on American culture in the Mexican school system.

Demand a local Mexican driver license. This will afford other legal rights and will go far to legitimize your unauthorized, illegal, presence in Mexico.

Insist that local Mexican law enforcement teach English to all its officers.

Good luck, because it will never happen.

It will not happen in Mexico or any other country in the world... except right here in the United States... Land of the naive!

The Mexican people themselves are wonderful, hard working people, it's the government of Mexico that sucks.
Mexico doesn't have any industry of it's own to support their people.

To me the government of Mexico is one of the most corrupt government in the world.

The president of Mexico, president Fox and the President of the US, President Bush, say the 2 countries are great friends.
Well, with friends like Mexico, we don't need any other enemies.

We are being invaded and our government isn't doing anything about it.

I think we should send Fox a bill for all the free care we have given his people over the years, make them pay for it, End the Free Ride.

Here's another thought, where is the Mexican Army, why aren't they helping us with the fight on terrorism. I don't think they even have an army, do they.

Here is an interesting question; Why is Mexico so dirt poor or are they. Who is really poor in Mexico.

Terri Shiavo's death is sad and unnecessary

It real sad that Terri is no longer with us. When she first got into that condition, no one questioned how she got that way. The news reports on what had happened are misleading and I believe not true.

The few comments I've gotten back on the other Blogs I've written, prove one thing, they are happy that she's dead and don't care how she got there.

The victim and the witness to the crime are now dead. The killer got away with it and the courts helped him.

Why wasn't she given the chance to live? I think her husband has some questions to answer on that question, wasn't he the one that kept trying to stop her treatment. Why would anyone do that when there might have given her another chance at life.

I'd like to know what the woman he is shacking up with thinks about this. Terri's husband really was concerned about his wife, while he was shacking up with another woman and having 2 children by her. That shows real love for his wife. That makes me wonder what she knows about the case and when did she first meet Michael. A lot of questions and no answers, none that the Florida courts will allow anyways.

Do I think this case will ever be reinvestigation, NO
Do I think the court system will be investigated, NO
Will Judge Greer be investigated, NO
Will Congress do anything about Greers refuseal to do what they asked/ told him do, NO

To the person that said to put my cat on life support for 15 years.

Think of this, if you starve your cat to dead, you can be arrested and go to prison for it. Terri wasn't allowed that protection

The Pope in the news, Terri out

Yea the Pope is in the news because he's dying. He wasn't in the new much when he was healthy, isn't that strange.
I listen the Shawn Hannity on the way home from work 5 days a week and yesterday (Friday) on the way home there was a tone in his voice that told me, Terri is out and the Pope is in, as long as he's dying. Terri will be out of the news by this coming Monday.
Shawn talking about Terri Shiavo never use the words like, KILLING, MURDER, EXECUTION, ETC.
I think Shawn talks the talk but DOESN"T walk the walk. I think he afraid to be sued.

The Pope is lucky that he isn't living in Florida, we all know what happened to another sick person that had a feeding tube. Here comes the judge, Here comes the judge.

Terri Shaivo is now gone to a better place

You know we always say things like that, but has she gone to a better place. I think we say that just so we, the living, will feel better. No one has come back from the dead months or years later and said, "Boy that place is great" or even "Boy that place sucks and I don't want to go back".
Well, now that she gone I think that we'll be hearing less and less about Terri and what her husband did to her. Terri will just fade away,
TV news and talk show don't say much when the new event is over, its no longer news.
Will, they, the goverment, go after the judges, especially judge Greer. I dought it. As some would say "O' well she dead and gone".
Hey, Hannity, what do you think about that, isn't that a true statement or have you forgotten all ready.
I think I'll have more to say about the things Hannity says ant the way he says it.

Terri Shaivo murder or an Execution or both

Jeb Bush as govenor can stop an execution, but he won't stop this murdering of Terri Shaivo. I think that's a little odd. Animals have more rights to live than Terri.
Sammy Davis Jr. had a song, "The Canndy Man" and I think that it fits to Jeb Bush.
Jeb needs to get a pair. You want to run for the president some day and that's one job you can't be a CANNDY ASS. Stand up and be a man.
You know people, I don't think he will, I think he's a coward.
There's another thing, where are all the care groups like the ACLU, etc. Where are these groups????????. Oh, that's right I forgot, they don't fight for things that are good, they fight to take the good away from the people.

The killing of Terri is a court ordered Murder.
If I was a convict on death row in Forida, I'd be a little worried, They have just found a cheap way to executing you. The state can reduce their food budget by maybe .01%. How does Mr. Ronco say it, Set It and Forget It. Put you in a ceil one day and forget you.
The old people you maybe a start to something else. What if a family member goes to Judge Death and asks him to allow them to stop feeding you.
Y'al may think that's funny, but now with Terri's murder, that could start happening.
